June’s Updates

As the Spring quarter came to a close, June remained full of exciting events and adoptions here at the Cat Program! We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who supported and volunteered with us this past quarter.

Thank you to all of our graduating staff and volunteers at the Cat Program. We truly appreciate your contributions to the shelter and all the time, care, and compassion you’ve shared. We’re excited to see what you accomplish next and wish you all the best in your new adventures!

A final special shoutout goes to our amazing summer volunteers and fosters. Thank you for ensuring our cats stay safe, healthy, and loved all summer long. Your continued dedication means the world to us and to the cats!

We've had some exciting events over the past few weeks. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported them!

Seeds Fundraiser Event June 11th

Our Seeds Fundraiser Event in downtown San Luis Obispo was a great opportunity to connect with SLO residents and students, share information about the Cat Program, and raise awareness for what we do. We appreciated everyone who stopped by to learn more and show their support.

Gold Bar Piercing Event June 13th

To celebrate Friday the 13th in June, the Cat Program partnered with The Gold Bar Piercing in downtown SLO for a special $13 piercing event. Recently adopted cats, Peach and Arcturus, made an appearance to meet SLO residents and students looking for a new piercing. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us, 25% of the proceeds went directly to the Cat Program!

Meet Arcturus!

Arcturus is incredibly sweet and always eager to cuddle or share quiet time with his favorite people. He would make a loving and loyal companion for anyone seeking a warm and gentle friend.

Meet Squirrel!

Squirrels enjoy all kinds of interaction, from gentle snuggles to playful fun. Whether he’s chasing toys or curling up for a nap, he loves spending time with people.
