Welcome to the Cal Poly Cat Program Newsletter

Welcome!

Welcome to the purr-fect place for all things Cat Program! Whether you’re a volunteer, supporter, or simply a cat lover, we are so happy you’re here.

About us

The Cal Poly Cat Program's mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for sanctuary, surrendered, stray, and rehabilitated feral cats and kittens whilst they wait for new loving homes.

Through our ongoing Trap, Neuter, and Release program, we responsibly and responsively maintain the feral cat population in San Luis Obispo.

April’s Updates

April has been our first official month at our new shelter!

We are so excited to continue growing our program at this new shelter. It has provided new opportunities for our cats, volunteers, and staff to connect. We have been hard at work making this space a safe and enriching environment. Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes peeks, and thank you for being part of this new chapter with us!

Final March adoption count: 11 adoptions

Our staff’s most recent bonding event was decorating our new Memorial Garden area.

Meet some adoptable cats!
